The module sends notifications to E-mail or private messages, in the settings there are options to enable this or that sending, if:

• A news item has been added - only for those who have subscribed to new news items.
• News has been added to a category - only for those who have subscribed to this category.
• A news item was updated - only for those who subscribed to this news item.
• A news was added by a subscribed user.
• A news was added with X value of the additional field Y to which they subscribed.
• A news item was added with the tag to which you subscribed.
